Cookie Monster Fluff

Ingredients:

1 (16 ounce) package of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Optional: Additional chocolate sandwich cookies for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough at a time and roll them into small balls. Place the cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each.
3. Bake the cookie dough balls for 10-12 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown around the edges. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
4. While the cookie dough balls are cooling, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until it's smooth and creamy.
5. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese, mixing on low speed until it's just combined.
6. Pour in the milk and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed until the frosting is light and fluffy.
7. Once the cookie dough balls are completely cool, gently fold in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and chocolate chips into the cream cheese frosting. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
8. Carefully spoon or pipe the frosting mixture onto each cooled cookie dough ball. You can use a spoon for a rustic look, or a piping bag for a more elegant presentation.
9. If desired, garnish with extra crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.
10. Refrigerate the Cookie Monster Fluff for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the frosting to set. This will also help the cookies maintain their shape. Enjoy!
