๐๐ซ Celebrate St. Patrickโs Day with a festive and indulgent Brownie Trifle! Layers of fudgy brownies, creamy whipped topping, and a hint of mint will bring a burst of green to your dessert table. Perfect for parties or just a sweet treat to enjoy! ๐๐
Ingredients:
For the brownie layers:
1 box of brownie mix (or homemade brownies)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/4 cup water
For the whipped topping:
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp mint extract (optional)
For the assembly:
1 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup green M&Mโs or green candy-coated chocolate pieces
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the brownies: Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions. Grease and flour a baking dish. In a large bowl, mix the brownie mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water. Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake according to package directions, usually 20-25 minutes. Let the brownies cool completely. (Duration: 5 minutes + 20-25 minutes baking + 15 minutes cooling)
Make the whipped topping: In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and mint extract (if using) until stiff peaks form. (Duration: 5 minutes)
Assemble the trifle: Cut the cooled brownies into cubes. In a large trifle dish or individual glasses, layer the brownie cubes, whipped topping, mini marshmallows, and green M&Mโs. Repeat the layers until you reach the top, ending with a layer of whipped topping. (Duration: 10 minutes)
Decorate: Garnish the top of the trifle with fresh mint leaves and additional green M&Mโs or candy-coated chocolates. (Duration: 5 minutes)
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to combine and the trifle to set. (Duration: 1 hour chilling)
Serve and enjoy this festive, minty treat! ๐ซ๐
