📋 Ingredients
- 1 pound beef or turkey
- 1 sweet onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (15 oz each)
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2-3 cups beef broth
- 1 can kidney beans (15 oz)
- 1 can red beans (15 oz)
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
📝 Instructions
1. In a pan, brown the beef.
2. Add onions and cook until soft.
3. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
4. Transfer to the crockpot.
5. Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, beans, bell pepper, and the rest of the ingredients.
6. Cover the crockpot and set to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
