Crustless Quiche with Bacon and Mushrooms recipee
Ingredients:
6 large eggs
1 cup milk (or cream for a richer texture)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup chopped onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh herbs (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan.
In a skillet, sauté the mushrooms and onions in a bit of oil until softened. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Stir in the cheese, cooked bacon, and sautéed mushrooms and onions. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
