Milk Flan Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
• 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 eggs
Instructions:
1. Make the caramel: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until golden brown. Quickly pour it into a flan mold, covering the bottom. Let it harden.
2. Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, beat the eggs, then add the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
3. Pour into the mold: Pour the mixture over the hardened caramel.
4. Cooking options:
• Oven (water bath): Preheat to 350°F (180°C). Place the mold in a larger baking dish filled with hot water. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
• Stovetop (water bath): Place the mold in a large pot with water and cook on low heat for 45-50 minutes, covered.
5. Cool and unmold: Let the flan cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours. To unmold, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate.
Enjoy!
