Apple Cider Donut Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
5. Alternately add the dry ingredients and apple cider to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir in sour cream until just combined.
6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
