Salmon and Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
For the Seafood:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into chunks
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper to taste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
For the Pasta:

12 ounces fettuccine or pasta of your choice
Salt for pasta water
Garnish:

Fresh parsley, chopped
Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce:

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Keep warm on low heat.
Cook the Seafood:

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the salmon chunks and shrimp with salt and pepper.
Add the salmon to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drizzle with lemon juice and set aside.
Combine and Serve:

Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
Gently fold in the cooked salmon and shrimp.
Serve the Salmon and Shrimp Alfredo warm, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
Tips
For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the Alfredo sauce while simmering.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.❤️😋
