Apple Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups diced apples (like Granny Smith)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, milk, and eggs together until smooth.
4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the diced apples and chopped nuts, if using, making sure they are evenly distributed.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
7. Bake in the oven for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Try using different types of apples for unique flavors!
