Garlic Butter Beef and Spinach Tortellini 🧈
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
For the Pasta:
12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
2 cups fresh spinach
For Garnish:
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan for topping
Directions:
Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Drain excess grease and set aside.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Cook the Tortellini & Combine:
4. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce.
5. Stir in fresh spinach and cooked beef, mixing until spinach wilts and everything is coated in sauce.
Serve & Enjoy:
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm!
