Creamy Cajun Butter Steak Tips with Linguine
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized tips
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak Tips:
Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak tips and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Cajun Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Melt butter, then add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan.
Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy, cheesy, and smooth.
4. Add cooked linguine and steak tips back into the skillet. Toss everything in the creamy Cajun butter sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to let flavors meld.
5. Finish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Add extra cheese on top if desired—your audience will thank you!
