Irresistible Mini Caramel Apple Cheesecakes
Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a small bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and melted butter until moistened. Press the mixture into the bottoms of the liners to form the crusts.
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg, vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour. Mix until silky and fully combined.
Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the crusts evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the centers are set and slightly golden. Cool completely.
Meanwhile, in a small skillet over medium heat, cook diced apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar for about 5 minutes until the apple is tender.
Once cheesecakes are cool, drizzle caramel sauce over each and top with the warm apple mixture.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving for best flavor and texture.
