Chocolate Hazelnut Cake 🍫🌰

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
1 cup hazelnut spread (Nutella)
1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 cup heavy cream (for frosting)
8 oz dark chocolate (for frosting)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Slowly add dry ingredients, then stir in boiling water.
Divide batter between pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
For the frosting, heat heavy cream and pour over dark chocolate. Let sit, then whisk until smooth.
Spread hazelnut spread between cake layers, then frost with chocolate ganache. Garnish with chopped hazelnuts.
Notes:

Add extra hazelnut spread on top for a richer flavor!
