Cheesy Mashed Potato Bake (So Good, Guests Asked for the Recipe!)
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
4 tbsp butter
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup sour cream
2 green onions, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
½ cup mozzarella (for topping)
Optional: crumbled bacon or parsley for garnish
Directions: Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15–20 minutes). Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in chopped green onions.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with bacon or parsley if desired. Perfect as a side or even a main dish!
