Garlic Butter Lobster and Scallops
Ingredients:
2 lobster tails, split lengthwise
1/2 lb large sea scallops, patted dry
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Brush lobster tails with melted butter, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, then roast for 10–12 minutes until shells are bright red and meat is opaque.
While the lobster cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pat scallops dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and season to taste.
Plate lobster tails and scallops, then spoon over garlic butter sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
