Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup strawberry preserves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla.

Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until dough forms.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto sheets, make an indentation, and fill with cream cheese and strawberry preserves.

Bake 12–15 minutes until lightly golden. Cool before serving.
