Delicious Marble Cake ππ«
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour an 8x4-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Divide the batter into two equal portions. Stir cocoa powder into one portion until fully combined.
Alternate spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the loaf pan. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together for a marbled effect.
Bake for 45β55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
