A delicious Red Velvet Cake topped with Oreo cookies, white chocolate pieces, and whipped cream.

Ingredients:
For the Red Velvet Cake:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cocoa powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons red food coloring

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for consistency)

For the Decoration:
12-15 Oreo cookies, halved

2-3 ounces white chocolate, chopped into chunks

Red velvet cake crumbs (from the cake itself)

Instructions:
For the Red Velvet Cake:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the oil, eggs, vanilla extract, vinegar, buttermilk, and red food coloring. Whisk until smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

Bake the Cake: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
Make the Frosting: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy and smooth using an electric mixer.

Add Powdered Sugar and Vanilla: Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and fluffy. Add heavy cream for a creamier consistency if desired.

Assembling the Cake:
Trim the Cakes: Once the cakes are completely cooled, use a serrated knife to level the top of each cake, if necessary.

Frost the Cake: Place the first layer of the cake on a serving platter. Spread a generous amount of cream cheese frosting on top. Place the second layer on top and cover the entire cake with frosting.

Add Cake Crumbs: To decorate, crumble a portion of the red velvet cake and press the crumbs around the sides and top of the cake.

Decorate the Cake: Decorate the top of the cake with halved Oreo cookies, white chocolate chunks, and a few extra dollops of whipped cream or frosting.

Serve:
Slice and enjoy your beautiful and indulgent red velvet cake with Oreo decorations!

Tips:
If you want an extra decadent cake, drizzle some chocolate or caramel sauce over the frosting before serving.

You can store the cake in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Enjoy this rich and flavorful red velvet cake with a fun Oreo topping!
