Deliciously creamy chicken alfredo served in crispy bread bowls!
📋 Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 pound pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 6 kaiser rolls (or more if needed)
- 1 jar alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
- 3-4 teaspoons garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
📝 Instructions
1. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little olive oil and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
3. Slice the tops off the kaiser rolls and hollow out the centers to create a bowl shape.
4. Mix the melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Brush the inside and edges of the bread bowls with the garlic butter.
5. Place the bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 4-5 minutes until lightly toasted.
6. Add the cooked pasta and alfredo sauce to the pan with the chicken. Mix everything until well coated.
7. Fill each bread bowl with the chicken alfredo mixture. Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top.
8. Return to the oven for another 4-5 minutes, until the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Enjoy while warm!
