Southern Peach Crumb Cake ๐ โ Donโt lose this recipe!
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups fresh or canned peaches (peeled and sliced)
For the Crumb Topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Set oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Make the Cake Batter:
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients and buttermilk, alternating until smooth.
Add Peaches:
Pour the batter into the prepared dish.
Evenly layer the peach slices on top.
Prepare Crumb Topping:
Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cold butter with a fork or your fingers until crumbly.
Sprinkle over the peaches.
Bake:
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool & Serve:
