Ingredients:

2 red snapper fillets
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 shallot, finely chopped
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons capers
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:

Season the red snapper fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the fillets for about 4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and shallot, and sautΓ© until fragrant and translucent.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice, heavy cream, and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
Stir in capers, parsley, and basil and cook for an additional minute. Return the snapper fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
