🕒 Ready in 30 minutes | Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 steaks (ribeye, filet mignon, or sirloin)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the Steaks
Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks to your desired doneness (4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove from the pan and set aside.
Make the Cajun Shrimp Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
Stir in Cajun seasoning, followed by shrimp. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
