Garlic Butter Steak and Shrimp Stir-Fried Noodles

Ingredients:

8 oz rice noodles or lo mein noodles

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced

8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup snap peas

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Green onions, sliced, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions:

Cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the steak slices and sear until browned and cooked to your liking, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Add the remaining butter to the skillet along with the garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Toss in the bell pepper and snap peas, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil.

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, pour the sauce over, and toss to combine.

Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything together until heated through.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
