Savory Reuben Bake with Layers of Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, and Swiss Cheese

Ingredients:

1 pound sliced corned beef, chopped

2 cups sauerkraut, drained

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1 cup Thousand Island dressing

8 slices rye bread, cubed

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Spread half of the rye bread cubes in the bottom of the dish.

Layer evenly with chopped corned beef, sauerkraut, and 1½ cups of the Swiss cheese.

Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the layered ingredients.

Top with the remaining rye bread cubes and sprinkle with the remaining ½ cup of cheese.

Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Sprinkle with caraway seeds if using.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
