Dr. Jane Goodall, age 91, died today, October 1, 2025.

I know she lived a long and fulfilling life, but I’m just so incredibly saddened by the news of her passing today. What always struck me is how she carried the spirit of a curious child even into old age — still wide-eyed, still asking “why,” still believing small choices matter. That has always been such an inspiration to me.

Rest in peace, Dame Jane. Your legacy pulses in every forest and every human who stares up at the trees and dares to dream. What a life she’s had!
