Stuffed Philly Cheesesteak Bread Loaf

Would you try this loaded loaf? Don’t lose the recipe — it’s perfect for game night, family dinner, or anytime you’re craving something cheesy and hearty!

Ingredients:
• 1 large French bread loaf (or homemade dough, if you’re feeling fancy)
• 1 lb (450g) ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
• 1 green bell pepper, sliced
• 1 small onion, sliced
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper, to taste
• 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell pepper until soft, about 5–7 minutes.
3. Add sliced steak to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook just until browned. Remove from heat.
4. Slice the bread loaf lengthwise, but don’t cut all the way through — you want to create a pocket. Scoop out a bit of the inside if needed.
5. Layer half of the cheese inside the bread, then pile in the steak mixture. Top with the rest of the cheese.
6. If using homemade dough, wrap it around the filling like a giant roll. Pinch the seams and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
7. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and melty inside. Let cool slightly before slicing.
