🍓 Cheesecake Fruit Salad 🍏
Ingredients
For the Fruit Base:
3 cups fresh strawberries
3 cups green apples, diced small
For the Cheesecake Cream:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
8 ounces thawed whipped topping
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the Topping:
1 cup crushed graham crackers
2 tablespoons melted butter
Caramel sauce , for drizzling
Instructions
Step 1: Create the Cheesecake Cream
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture becomes light and airy. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Graham Cracker Topping
Combine the crushed graham crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl. Mix well to ensure even distribution of butter. For added crunch, toast the mixture lightly in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.
Step 3: Assemble the Layers
In a decorative serving dish, spread half of the prepared fruit base evenly across the bottom. Spoon half of the cheesecake cream over the fruit layer, spreading it gently to cover without disturbing the fruit beneath. Repeat the process with the remaining fruit and cheesecake cream, forming a second layer.
Step 4: Final Touches
Sprinkle the cooled graham cracker topping generously over the top layer of cheesecake cream. Just before serving, drizzle caramel sauce artistically over the salad for a polished presentation.
