Homemade Sarde in Saor Recipe 🇮🇹🐟✨
Ingredients:
• 1 lb fresh sardines, cleaned (450g)
• 2 onions, sliced
• 1/2 cup white vinegar (120ml)
• 2 tbsp olive oil (30ml)
• 2 tbsp raisins
• 2 tbsp pine nuts
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Fry sardines in olive oil until golden. Set aside.
In a pan, cook onions until soft, then add vinegar, raisins, and pine nuts.
Layer sardines and onion mixture in a dish.
Let marinate for at least 12 hours before serving.
