🇮🇹 Fegato alla Veneziana (Venetian Liver and Onions)
Tender liver slices sautéed with golden onions and finished with a splash of vinegar – a bold and comforting classic!
Ingredients:
• 400 g calf’s liver, sliced
• 2 onions, thinly sliced
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 30 g butter
• 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
• Salt and black pepper
• Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Sauté onions in olive oil and butter until golden and soft.
2️⃣ Add liver slices and cook for 2–3 mins per side.
3️⃣ Deglaze with vinegar, season with salt and pepper.
4️⃣ Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
