Oreo Honeybun Cake with Cinnamon Cookies 'n Cream Icing
Ingredients:
For the Honeybun Cake:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
10-12 Oreo cookies, crushed
For the Cinnamon Cookies 'n Cream Icing:
️ 2 cups powdered sugar
️ ½ cup heavy cream
️ 1 tsp vanilla extract
️ ½ tsp ground cinnamon
️ 5 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
Directions:
1️⃣ Make the Honeybun Cake
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan.
2️⃣ In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ In another bowl, beat butter & sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk.
4️⃣ Slowly mix in dry ingredients.
5️⃣ In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar & cinnamon.
6️⃣ Pour half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Sprinkle half the crushed Oreos & cinnamon sugar mix over the batter.
7️⃣ Pour remaining batter on top, then swirl in the rest of the cinnamon sugar mix.
8️⃣ Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
2️⃣ Make the Cinnamon Cookies 'n Cream Icing
9️⃣ In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
🔟 Stir in crushed Oreos.
3️⃣ Glaze & Serve!
