Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Alfredo Cheese Tortellini
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Tortellini Alfredo:
10 oz cheese tortellini
1 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Steak Bites: Pat the steak pieces dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter: Reduce the skillet heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes if you like a bit of heat.
Return the steak bites to the pan and toss in the garlic butter until well coated. Remove from heat and keep warm.
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In a separate skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté briefly.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve: Add the cooked tortellini to the Alfredo sauce and stir to coat.
Plate the creamy tortellini and top with the garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.
