Strawberry Fluff Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 (16 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
1. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
2. Stir in the cold water and refrigerate until slightly thickened but not fully set, about 30 minutes.
3. In a large bowl, combine the whipped topping, drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, chopped fresh strawberries, and sour cream.
4. Gently fold the slightly thickened gelatin into the whipped topping mixture until well combined.
5. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
6. Serve chilled as a refreshing and light dessert or side dish.
