Ingredients
24 Original Oreos (plus extra for decoration)
1 box Funfetti cake mix (prepared according to package instructions)
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions
Prepare the Buttercream : In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy, ensuring there are no lumps of butter.
Whip the Cream : In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the buttercream mixture until fully incorporated.
Assemble the Layers : Crush 12 Oreos into fine crumbs and set aside. On a serving plate or tray, spread a thin layer of the prepared Funfetti cake mix as the base. Layer with half of the whipped cream mixture, followed by half of the crushed Oreos.
Repeat the Layers : Add another layer of Funfetti cake mix, then the remaining whipped cream, and finish with the rest of the crushed Oreos.
Decorate and Chill : Place whole Oreos around the edges for a decorative border. Top with sprinkles for an extra burst of color. Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
