Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 lb (225g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Skewers (wooden or metal)
Directions:
1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes. Thread steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between them.
2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Brush the mixture evenly over the steak and shrimp.
3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, flipping once, until shrimp are opaque and steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
4. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot with extra garlic butter on the side!
