BBQ Brisket Cheesesteaks 🍖🧀🥖

Ingredients:
- 1 pound cooked brisket, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls, toasted
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are soft and just starting to caramelize.

2. Stir in the minced garlic and smoked paprika. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

3. Add the shredded brisket to the skillet, mixing it with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the barbecue sauce and stir well to combine. Allow the mixture to heat through for about 4-5 minutes, making sure everything is evenly coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. While the brisket mixture is heating, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

5. Split the toasted hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.

6. Spoon the BBQ brisket mixture generously onto each hoagie roll, topping each with a handful of shredded provolone cheese.

7. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve your BBQ brisket cheesesteaks warm, and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors!
