Steak and Eggs Skillet
Ingredients
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
2 large eggs
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Sear the Steak
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Season steak slices with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until medium-rare.
Add butter and garlic, basting the steak for extra flavor.
Remove steak and let it rest.
Cook the Eggs
In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook sunny-side up until the whites are set but yolks remain runny.
Assemble and Serve
Return steak to the skillet, spooning some buttery pan sauce over it.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
