Creamy Garlic Parmesan Steak Bites with Fettuccine Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining. Set aside.
2. Sear the Steak Bites: Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, searing for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to the same skillet and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened. Add red pepper flakes for a kick, if using.
4. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing gently in the creamy sauce. Use reserved pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce if needed.
5. Serve: Top the creamy fettuccine with the seared steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy the rich, garlicky goodness.
