𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐄 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐬
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz canned crab meat, drained and flaked
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce, for dipping
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
3. Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water. Fold each wrapper diagonally to create a triangle, pressing the edges to seal tightly.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat, enough to submerge the crab rangoons.
5. Fry the crab rangoons in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
6. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce for dipping.
