Creamy steak with garlic butter and mushroom sauce 🥩🍄
Ingredients :
- 2 medium steaks (sirloin, fillet or fillet mignon)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of soft butter
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 250 ml of minced mushrooms
- 250 ml of thick sour cream
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. Salt and pepper both sides of the steak
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the steaks 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired cook. Take steaks out of the pan and reserve.
3. Lower heat and butter to the skillet. Stir minced garlic 30 seconds until it is fragrant. 4. Add the minced mushrooms and cook 4 to 5 minutes until tender.
5. Add thick sour cream, Dijon mustard and soy sauce. Let simmer 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
6. Put the steaks back in the pan, drap them in mushroom sauce and let cook 1-2 minutes to warm through.
7. Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
