🇫🇷 Brandade de Morue (Salt Cod Purée)
Creamy mash of cod and potatoes—classic comfort from southern France.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound salted cod (soaked overnight)
• 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
• 1 clove garlic
• 1/4 cup cream
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Pepper and chives
Instructions:
1. Boil potatoes until tender.
2. Simmer soaked cod in water with garlic until flaky.
3. Mash potatoes and cod together.
4. Stir in cream and olive oil until smooth.
5. Season and serve warm with chives.
