Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
Sour cream, for serving (optional)
Directions:
Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray or lightly grease it.
In a large bowl, toss together steak cubes, diced potatoes, onion, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture into the crockpot and spread it evenly.
Cover and cook on high for 4–5 hours or low for 7–8 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the steak is fully cooked.
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
Once melted, top with crumbled bacon and chopped chives.
Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
