Pineapple-Cowboy Candy Pepper Jelly ππΆοΈβ¨
Delight in this sweet and spicy jelly!
π Ingredients
- 1 fresh pineapple, trimmed and cut into cubes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 jalapeΓ±o peppers, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup bell peppers, finely chopped
- 1 package fruit pectin
π Instructions
1. Combine the pineapple, jalapeΓ±o peppers, and bell peppers in a large pot.
2. Crush the pineapple lightly with a potato masher.
3. Add the sugar and apple cider vinegar to the pot and stir.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
5. Once boiling, add the fruit pectin and stir well.
6. Continue to boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
7. Remove from heat and carefully ladle the hot jelly into sterilized jars.
8. Seal the jars and process them in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
9. Allow the jars to cool and store them in a cool, dark place.
