Easy Butter Toffee
📋 Ingredients
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips
🍽️ Directions
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add sugar, water, and salt; stir until dissolved.
3. Boil until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
4. Pour onto a lined baking sheet.
5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread.
6. Allow to cool before breaking into pieces.
