Perfectly Grilled Vegan Tofu Burger for Burger Lovers
Ingredients:
- 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and sliced into thick patties
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 vegan cheese slices
- Vegan mayo, ketchup, and mustard
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Marinate tofu patties in the mixture for 10 minutes.
2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook tofu patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
3. Toast burger buns and assemble with lettuce, tomato, vegan cheese, tofu patties, and condiments.
4. Serve immediately with fries or a salad on the side.
