Ingredients:
- ½ cup (70g) chia seeds
- ½ cup (70g) flax seeds
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- Optional seasonings: garlic powder, onion powder, herbs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine the chia seeds and flax seeds.
3. Add the water, olive oil, sea salt, and any optional seasonings. Stir well and let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the seeds to absorb the water and form a gel.
4. Spread the seed mixture thinly and evenly onto the prepared baking sheet using a spatula.
5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy. Check them frequently towards the end to prevent burning.
6. Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking them into pieces.
