Oven-Baked Caesar Chicken with Parmesan Sauce 🍗🧀

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Caesar salad dressing
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Directions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl and add the Caesar dressing, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
Add Cheese: In a shallow dish, combine ½ cup of the grated Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs. Mix well.
Coat the Chicken: Take each chicken breast out of the dressing mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, coat the chicken with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Arrange in Baking Dish: Place the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle any remaining breadcrumb mixture over the top of the chicken.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken for a delicious, cheesy crust.
Serve: Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides.
