Keto Hamburger and Broccoli Skillet
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef (80/20)
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Prep the Broccoli: Steam or blanch the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until just tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Ground Beef: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until fully browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Season the Meat: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Stir well to combine and cook for another minute to bloom the spices.
Add the Broccoli: Stir in the steamed broccoli and mix until evenly distributed with the beef. Cook together for 2-3 more minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the skillet. Cover with a lid and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and gooey.
