Puffy Rolls with Praline and Butter Cream
Ingredients :

1 puff pastry (homemade or ready-to-use)

100 g praline (preparation with almonds or caramelized hazelnuts)

100 g of soft butter

100 g of icing sugar

1 œuf

1 c. with milk soup

1 c. with icing sugar soup (for decoration)

1 c. with hazelnuts or crushed almonds soup (for decoration, optional)

Instructions :

Prepare the buttercream: in a bowl, whip the soft butter until it becomes creamy. Add the icing sugar little by little as you continue to whip, until you get a smooth and homogeneous texture. Add the praline and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spread puff pastry on a flour worktop.

Spread the praline buttercream evenly on the puff pastry.

Gently roll the dough over itself to form a boudin. Cut it into 2-3 cm thick.

Beat the egg with milk to prepare a golden egg.

Place the rolls on a baking sheet covered with sulfurized paper. Dab them in gold with a brush and sprinkle some hazelnuts or crushed almonds if you wish.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until rolls are golden brown.

Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
