Instructions
Create the Chocolate Base: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk continuously over medium-low heat until the mixture becomes smooth and the sugar dissolves completely. Avoid boiling—just warm it enough to meld the flavors.
Infuse Flavor: Once the mixture is smooth, remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before proceeding.
