🌈 Kool-Aid Gummy 🍬
Ingredients
1 packet unsweetened Kool-Aid (cherry, tropical punch, lemonade, or any flavor you love!)
2 cups cold water (divided)
3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (such as Knox)
ΒΌ cup sugar (optional, adjust based on sweetness preference)
Coating options: 1 tablespoon citric acid, powdered sugar, or sour sugar for extra zing
Instructions
Step 1: Bloom the Gelatin

In a medium bowl, sprinkle the gelatin evenly over Β½ cup of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the gelatin absorbs the water and forms a spongy β€œbloom.”
Step 2: Prepare the Gummy Liquid
2. In a small saucepan, combine the Kool-Aid powder, sugar (if using), and 1Β½ cups of water. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is steaming but not boiling (boiling can weaken the gelatin).
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin. Continue whisking for 3–4 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth with no lumps.

Step 3: Mold and Set
4. Carefully pour the liquid into silicone molds (fun shapes like stars, bears, or cubes work great) or a lightly greased baking dish for cutting into squares later.
5. Chill the molds in the refrigerator for about 2 hours, or place them in the freezer for 30 minutes if you’re short on time. The gummies are ready when they’re firm to the touch.

Step 4: Pop and Coat
6. Gently pop the gummies out of the molds. For a tangy twist, toss them in citric acid or powdered sugar until evenly coated.

Step 5: Enjoy!
7. Store your gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.
