🇮🇹 Croccante di Mandorle (Almond Brittle)
A golden, crisp and nutty Italian sweet—perfect for snacking or gifting.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• 1 1/2 cups chopped almonds
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. In a pan, melt sugar with water and lemon juice over medium heat.
2. Cook until deep golden.
3. Stir in chopped almonds and salt.
4. Quickly spread onto a parchment-lined tray.
5. Let cool completely, then break into shards.
